Short version: there's no account, nothing is uploaded, and no personal data is collected or sold.

No account required

You can use every part of this site without signing up. There is no login, no email capture and no user profile.

Everything runs in your browser

Barcodes are generated on your own device from the title you type. Searches are matched against a catalogue that ships with the site, so your queries are not sent anywhere for processing, and the images you export are rendered locally.

Local storage

The site uses your browser's local storage only to remember your recently generated films and the current app state, so the list survives a refresh. Clearing your recent films — or clearing site data in your browser — removes it permanently. Nothing in that storage leaves your device.

Sharing

A shared barcode link carries only the film title so the same image can be regenerated on the other side. Exported images contain the artwork and the film credit, nothing else.

Tracking and advertising

No advertising networks and no third-party tracking scripts are used. Basic, aggregate hosting logs may record standard request information such as an IP address and user agent, as with any website; they are not used to build a profile of you. Should analytics ever be added, this page will be updated to say so.

Third-party content

Film titles, directors and release years are factual credits used to describe the works being visualised. No film footage is hosted, streamed or decoded here.
